Detail Itinerary
Day 1| Arrive at Paro
Paro Elevation: 2,240 m
- Welcome to Bhutan, the Land of the Thunder Dragon. Touching down at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide upon exiting the arrival hall and you will transfer to Hotel.
- Today, we will take it easy to adapt to the altitude. Let’s have your first taste of Bhutanese cuisine.
- Evening take a stroll around Paro market and town.
Day 2| Paro Sightseeing
- Morning visit Drukgyel Dzong, the ruined fortress from where Bhutanese repelled several invasions by Tibetan armies. On a clear day, you can witness stunning Mt. Jomolhari.
- Later visit Ta Dzong and walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong.
- Evening sightseeing by bicycle – Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines of the Kingdom. Overnight Tenzinling Resort or Similar.
Day 3| Paro – Thimphu
Thimphu Elevation: 2,320 m
Driving Distance: 56 km| 1 hr
- Morning drive to Thimphu en route visit Semtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the Kingdom which now houses the school for religious and cultural studies
- Afternoon free for shopping and leisure
- Overnight Hotel River View or Similar.
Day 4| Thimphu
- Morning drive to BBS Tower for fascinating view of Thimphu valley and later visit mini zoo, Anim Dratshang (nunnery), National Library, Handmade Paper factory & Memorial Chorten (stupa)
- Afternoon, as the time permits, visit to School of Arts & Crafts, Textile & Folk Heritage Museum, Zangtho Pelri Lhakhang (Temple) and Handicrafts Emporium
- Overnight Hotel River View or Similar.
Day 5| Thimphu – Trongsa (200 km, 6 hrs)
Trongsa Elevation: 2,300 m
Driving Distance: 200 km|6½ hrs
- Morning drive to Trongsa taking a short stop at Dochula pass (3,080m) that heralds the most enchanting views of Bhutan
- Drive further via Wangduephodrang town visiting here Dzong and local market. Further en route cross Pelela pass (3,300m) pass.
- In the evening, visit to Trongsa Dzong and Ta Dzong (watch tower)
- Overnight Yangkhil Resort or Similar.
Day 6| Trongsa – Bumthang
Bumthang Elevation: 2,600 m
Driving Distance: 68 km, 3 hours
- Early morning transfer to Bumthang. On the way stop at Zungney village to look at production of Yathra cloths
- Afternoon visit Jampa Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang, Chakhar Lhakhang and the Wangdicholing palace.
- Overnight Mountain Lodge or Similar.
Day 7| Bumthang
- Explore fascinating Bumthang valley visiting Swiss farm house (walk or hike around), Tamshing Lhakhang, Konchogsum Lhakhang and Jakar Dzong.
- Overnight Mountain Lodge or Similar.
Day 8| Bumthang to Punakha
Punakha Elevation: 1,200 – 4,800 m
Driving Distance: 205 km|7hrs
- Morning transfer to Punakha
- Later sightseeing of Punakha Dzong and town
- Overnight Damchen Resort or Similar.
Day 9| Punakha Rafting along Punatshang Chhu
- Day at leisure in beautiful Punakha valley
- Overnight at Damchen Resort or Similar.
Day 10| Punakha-Paro
Driving Distance: 133 km| 5 hrs
- Morning transfer to paro
- Afternoon visit to Paro market and a traditional farm house
- Overnight Tenzinling Resort or Similar.
Day 11| Departure: Farewell/Paro
- Depending on the flight destination you will be escorted to the airport for your onward flight destination.

- One time Visa cost of $40|Person (Pay on arrival, Visa counter.)
- Domestic flight fare including helicopter service. (RBHS)
- Gratitude to guide, driver, bell boy, trekking crew etc.
- Last minute amendment in the itinerary will be subjected to extra supplement on the existing package.
- Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle will be charged extra accordingly.
- Any cost arising due to road block, natural calamities like, landslides, flood etc…must be borne by the guest directly.

Transportation
A Good condition sightseeing vehicle will be allocated for the tour to ensure smooth travel. Depending on the no of tourists traveling, our agent shall reserve the right to best assign the vehicle as given below;
2 Pax – Santa Fe, Creta, Tucson etc
4 – 6 Pax – Santa Fe, Creta / Hi ace bus will be most comfortable
8 Pax and above – Coaster Bus
Tourist Guide
A skilled and highly experience guide certified by Guide Association (GAB) and Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) will be allocated to lead the tour throughout.
