Booking Policy – Bhutan Tigris Tours & Treks

On receipt of the full tour payment, based on the availability and at the sole discretion of the company, Bhutan Tigris Tours & Treks reserves your choice of vacation in Bhutan.
All tour reservations with Bhutan Tigris Tours & Treks must be booked via the mode of Internet (email) only. The tour reservation with Bhutan Tigris Tours & Treks will be confirmed only upon the receipt of the written confirmation.
No other form of reservations shall be considered appropriate other than the mentioned in clause (2).
For booking holiday package during peak season’s (March, April, May, September, October &November) at least 4 to 5 months prior booking is considered appropriate and vice versa. For your information prior reservation secure 100% vacation trip to Bhutan.

The full tour payment must be remitted to BHUTAN NATIONAL BANK LIMITED account stating ultimate beneficiary as M/s. Bhutan Tigris Tours & Treks with its proper account number registered with Bhutan National Bank Ltd. Upon the amount receipt we further deposit the full amount to Tourism Council of Bhutan to process VISA and only upon your departure from Bhutan, the amount will be released to us after necessary deductions.
It is mandatory to maintain the deposit slip and send us the copy of the receipt for our office reference.
No other personal bank account for the tour payment remittance shall be considered VALID including the proprietor bank account.
Payment Security; we confirm you complete 100% security on the payment and your payment shall be considered appropriate if you abide by the clause (1), (2) & (3).

The payment must be remitted directly to the company’s account registered with any financial institutions of Bhutan.
Should remit 50% of the total amount as an advance booking to ensure tour confirmation. Payment failure will be assumed as your tour cancellation and immediately the reservation with Bhutan Tigris Tours & Trek shall be considered canceled.
Personal bank account shall be considered INVALID except for the proprietor’s bank account. While remitting money according to clause(3), proper confirmation must be received in written from the proprietor for the remittance approval.
The outstanding payment must be deposited upon arrival or on the last second day of departure.
It is mandatory to maintain the deposit slip(s) and send the copy as and when tour payment is remitted.
The company shall not be held responsible if the payment does not comply with [II FOR REGIONAL TOURISTS (1), (3) & (5)] above.
Payment Security; we confirm you complete security on the payment and your payment shall be considered proper if your payment adhere clause (6).

Bhutan Tigris Tours & Trek at its sole discretion reserves the right to amend or cancel your booking in accordance with operating necessities or situation beyond its management.
Should situation demands any amendment and cancellation our management shall give you reasonable notice, a minimum period of 45 days unless the circumstances leading to the cancellation were beyond our reasonable control.
In case of (2) we shall offer you with the similar alternative for adjustment.
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing to Bhutan Tigris Tours & Trek and accordingly cancellation charges shall be levied based on (5), (6), (7), (8) & (9).
45 days prior to arrival - No cancellation charge shall be levied
30 days prior to arrival - 15% cancellation charges shall be levied.
15 days prior to arrival - 25% cancellation charges shall be levied.
7 days prior to arrival - 50% cancellation charges shall be levied.
Upon arrival -100 % cancellation charges shall be levied.

There shall be no charge for CHILDREN up to the age of 5 years.
Children between the age of 6-12 years accompanied by elders/ guardians shall be given 50% discount on daily rates and 100% discount on Royalty.
Full time STUDENTS below the age of 25 years holding valid identity cards from their Academic Institutions shall also be given a 25% discount on daily rates.

As per Tourism Council of Bhutan $50 discount is offered between high season and regular season tourists. High Season; $420/person/day & Regular season; $390 /person/day.
A discount of 50% on daily rates shall be given to one person in a group of 11 to 15 people. 100% discount shall be given to one member in a group exceeding 16 persons.
50%discount on Royalty shall be provided after the 8th night and 100% discount on Royalty shall be provided after the 14th night.

The company refund policy shall be executed based on (2) & (3) above.
The refund shall be made provided if all the guidelines are adhered without failure.
Delay in arrival and departure because of weather conditions disrupting flights, road blocks and due to any other cause shall not be held responsible. Therefore, the supplement cost incurred shall be borne directly by the clientele.
The refund policies won’t be applicable for the delay and for no-show clientele.
